The entire vehicle technology has been completely overhauled and all wearing parts have been renewed. The entire restoration was carried out very authentically andand original.
The engine impresses with very good response behaviour and a very dynamic torque curve torque curve with high running culture. The 5-speed manual gearbox enables a sporty driving style driving style with perfect gear ratios in conjunction with the engine power.

The restoration of the vehicle was completed about 6 years ago.
The following work/repairs were carried out in the period from 2008 – 2018:
– Complete engine overhaul with renewal of all wearing parts
– Technical and visual overhaul of the entire SU carburettor system
– Visual refurbishment of all add-on parts in the engine compartment area
– Renewal of the entire cooling water system including water cooler, water pump
– Conversion to thermostat-controlled electric fans for the water cooling system
– Complete overhaul of the entire brake system including brake booster and brake lines
– Overhaul of the entire rear axle incl. differential and wheel bearings etc.
– Overhaul of the power steering pump, replacement of all hoses in the power steering system
– Re-polarised vehicle electrics, repair of the wiring harnesses
– Installation of a performance-enhanced alternator
– Replacement of the fuel pump
– Installation of an activated carbon filter to absorb the unpleasant-smelling fuel gases
– Instruments completely overhauled
– Overhaul of the original ignition distributor
– Exhaust system in V2A
– Renewal of the chrome spoke rims incl. tyres
– Replacement of all headlights
– Renewal of the rear windscreen
In 2016, the 3-speed Borg Warner automatic gearbox was replaced with a 5-speed Getrag gearbox with central release bearing and an F&S clutch.
